Hi, I’m Rob Koenders, and I am one of the maritime meteorologists at Infoplaza. During the winter months, I also work as an Ice Analyst on a project in Kazakhstan. My interest in weather probably started when I was a little boy, watching snowflakes transform the world into a magical place—or perhaps it was my grandfather’s weather calendar, which featured stunning photos of weather phenomena. My biggest passion is being in the snow during ski trips in the Alps. Besides that, I enjoy outdoor activities such as road and mountain biking, hiking, and playing tennis and squash. I also love attending concerts, traveling, and supporting my hometown football club, PSV Eindhoven.Marsel Blok - Maritime Meteorologist
Hello! My name is Marsel Blok, and I was born and raised in the beautiful city of Rotterdam. Hi everyone! My name is Matthijs. I started working as a maritime meteorologist at Infoplaza last year after graduating from Wageningen University, the city where I still live. Weather has always fascinated me—it’s constantly evolving and influences our lives in many ways. With family members involved in offshore industries, I was introduced to the maritime world at a young age. My role at Infoplaza perfectly combines these two interests, and I really enjoy providing weather forecasts for marine clients worldwide! Outside the office, I love exploring new places and countries, capturing landscapes through sketches or paintings, and watching football matches with friends.
